UNSW Tax & Business Advisory Clinic is a free service for financially vulnerable individuals and small businesses who would otherwise not have access to tax advice and business support. Our Student Volunteers (AHEGS-Recognised) are an integral part of our mission – and our team.
Open to all students from any Faculty across UNSW, during your volunteer experience you will be supervised and mentored by our dedicated team of Clinical Supervisors. Depending on your skill-set and preferences, you will be given opportunities to help real clients (under supervision), design and deliver community rights-based education initiatives, and assist with research and advocacy to address systemic injustice within the tax-transfer system.
Being a Student Volunteer (AHEGS-Recognised) at the Clinic will give you an immersive, interdisciplinary and invaluable experience while making a positive difference to the lives of financially vulnerable individuals and small businesses.
