Residential colleges and apartmentsÂ
Within a one-minute stroll from the School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering is a collection of colleges and residential apartments for students.ÌýThe colleges are always buzzing, promoting social and sporting activities and providing meals at set times. We have been supporting the students of the Mechanical Engineering community for more than 50 years.ÌýOne of the largest societies on campus, we serve students studying Mechanical, Aerospace, Mechatronic and Manufacturing Engineering. Being part of MechSoc means you have access to a range of social, industry and academic events to support you through your time at university. Industry nights, BBQs, pub crawls, revision days and camps are just a small part of what we do.ÌýÂ

UNSW mechatronics societyÂ
We are a student-based society aimed at promoting and providing pathways to engage in the ±«±·³§°ÂÌýcommunit. We bring together students for networking and discussions, as well as gathering resources, holding events and promoting the Mechatronic Engineering degree.ÌýOur upcoming events include barbecues, a robot showcase, Denso project, Arduino project and postgraduate seminars.Ìý

AIAA ±«±·³§°ÂÌý
We are the society for all students of Aerospace Engineering at the university, as well as open to anyone interested in the industry.ÌýWe run frequent events for the benefit of members, focusing on building ties with key industry players as well as research developments and openings. Events have previously included site visits to Qantas Engineering in Mascot and the Optus Telecommunications Satellite Array in Belrose.Ìý

Bluesat UNSW
Bluesat is a student-led space projects society with a focus on real-world value. We design and manufacture nanosatellites, build and operate satellite groundstations, create user interfaces for analogue astronaut missions, participate in space entrepreneurship competitions, launch high altitude balloons and more. We also run events to educate as well as to connect students to the space industry. We’re constantly looking to grow our teams, develop new projects and events, and collaborate with others.Ìý
