Yawei Wang is a first-year PhD student at the School of Risk and Actuarial Studies at UNSW Sydney and the ARC Centre of Excellence in Population Ageing Research (CEPAR). He obtained Master of Actuarial Studies (Awarded with Excellence) from UNSW in 2021, a Bachelor degree of Mathematical Economics from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in 2013, and a double Bachelor degree of International Economics Law from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in 2013. He holds certifications including Associate of China Association of Actuaries, Certified Financial Risk Manager, and Certified Public Accountant. His current research interests are in the areas of retirement income product innovation, Markov chian Monte Carlo methods.
