Yusong Zhi
Yusong Zhi is currently a PhD candidate at the School of Marketing within the UNSW Business School. He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a master's degree in Marketing from Monash University.
Yusong's current research investigates the impact of sales narratives on consumer demand, with a particular focus on the metaverse. His work aims to explore how limited-edition products, product-launch sequences, and virtual events influence sales performance and customer engagement in virtual environments.
Prior to embarking on his PhD journey, Yusong acquired valuable experience in the civil engineering and real estate industries, providing him with a unique perspective that he now applies to his research. This blend of practical experience and academic inquiry enables Yusong to approach his studies with a comprehensive understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of marketing and consumer behavior.
