Getting to campus

  • The School of Art & Design campus is centrally located in the vibrant heart of Paddington and is well servicedÌýbyÌýÌý´Ç±è³Ù¾±´Ç²Ô²õ.

    We areÌýwithin walking distance of two train stations:

    Buses also operate to and from Oxford St and nearby Flinders St:Ìý

  • UNSW runs a freeÌýshuttle busÌýbetween the School of Art & DesignÌýin PaddingtonÌýandÌýtheÌýKensington campus.Ìý

    ItÌýoperates hourly throughout each semester, excluding weekends and public holidays.Ìý

    You’ll find the shuttle bus stopsÌýat the Greens Rd entrance (Paddington) andÌýthe Gate 8 entrance on High Street (UNSW Kensington).Ìý

  • There is no parking on the Paddington campus and street parking is extremely limited. We recommend using public transport to get to our campus.

The Making Centre

The Making Centre is a group of interconnected workshops, studios and labs that are integral to the disciplines taught across the School of Art & Design.

Making in all its forms is a fundamental part of the School of Art & Design and The Making Centre team is there to support our students, staff and ¹û¶³app through the whole process.
