Relocation assistance
At UNSW Canberra we are committed to attracting and retaining high-quality staff.听To achieve this, we search for听our听candidates widely. When听we offer听interstate and international听candidates a position, they may be eligible for relocation assistance. This helps ensure the journey to the nation鈥檚 capital is as smooth as possible.听

We offer this assistance to new appointees, including听current UNSW staff in Sydney听who听need听to relocate.

UNSW Canberra听employees are entitled to听generous leave听including annual, long-service,听sick,听study,听maternity, adoption, foster parent, partner,听grandparent听and carers leave.听

University听holidays
We close over the Christmas/New Year holiday for a specified period听that is听reviewed each year.听The听three听working days between Christmas and New Year are granted to staff at the discretion of UNSW as 鈥榰niversity holidays鈥 with pay.
Salaries听& financial benefits
Our academic and professional staff receive听competitive salaries,听paid every second Thursday.听We offer our professional staff 35 hour working weeks.听
There are also a听number听of ways听to听restructure the way you receive your salary to suit your individual needs and maximise your听take home pay.听
